The project!

As an IT Service Desk Specialist, you will be providing tecnhnical support (onsite and online) to our office and retail staff, serving as the first point of contact for end-users who require technical support and assistance and ensuring the proper resolution of all incidents and providing exceptional internal customer service.

 

What will the role entail?

  • Provide technical support and assistance for hardware and software related issues
  • Triage incoming tickets and requests, gather information, and attempt to resolve issues using available tools and resources
  • Escalate more complex issues to appropriate team members or vendors
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all support requests and resolutions

Requirements

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • IT related higher education (VAT, Degree or similar) 
  • Fluent English is required, additional languages will be valued.
  • IT Skills: Solid knowledge and troubleshooting abilities for hardware and software (Windows environment). Strong understanding of technical Internet fundamentals. Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (a plus). Experience or strong interest in enterprise endpoint security.
  • Essential soft skills: customer service abilities, able to support multiple clients/tasks at once, troubleshooting abilities
  • Able to work both independently and as a team member
