The project!:

We are looking for a person that would give support to the Merchandising department.

You would be the responsible for the stores stock management, ensuring correct stock position at any time giving support to the planning and distribution of the product as well as range selection.

What will the role entail?:

  • Attend weekly trade meetings and assist in making key business decisions.
  • Providing weekly summary of key performance indicators, relating to sales, stock, Margin, and markdown vs department targets.
  • Analyse past sales figures/trends to anticipate future product needs.
  • Define the correct replenishment plan ensuring and correct assortments.
  • Report on lessons learnt from key seasonal promotions or marketing campaigns.
  • Maximise stock efficiencies and commitment flow to allow for maximum profit.
  • Have a frequent communication with the stores staff is crucial to achieve objectives and coordinate the different operational processes such as returns, pricing changes, promotions, product launches, etc.
  • Partnering with the Allocation team to control inventory levels, allocations and replenishment.
  • Participating in regular store visits – ensuring all department KPI’s are met.
  • Line card management.
  • Carrying out ad hoc analysis as and when required, Product group and line level.
  • Assist in seasonal buys, supporting with analysis and key product selection for the retail business.
  • Provide historical analysis for Seasonal Planning Forecasts in support of strategies employed

Requirements

Job competences:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT skills, especially adeptness in data manipulation using Excel, is essential.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
